Even after more than 70 years in show business, legendary funny lady Betty White has never hosted Saturday Night Live. Fans of the show – and Betty -- are hoping to change that.
A Facebook page called “Betty White to Host SNL (please?)” has more than 100,000 fans, two days after her surprising Snickers spot was one of the top-rated commercials in Super Bowl XLIV. More than 90,000 of those fans have joined the page since the Super Bowl.
White, 88, is on a roll: Last month she received a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award to great...

If you thought you imagined last night’s blip of a commercial featuring late night rivals David Letterman and Jay Leno, paired with the queen of media, Oprah Winfrey, your eyes weren’t deceiving you.
According to Rob Burnett, executive producer of the Late Show with David Letterman, filming the 15-second spot took less than half an hour, and required a little top-secret finagling.
“Security was a big priority for us," Burnett told the Associated Press. "We really wanted to keep this under wraps. There were a lot of internal logistical conversations about...
“Let’s talk about American men at their stupidest,” said Donny Deutsch, on the Today Show.
Deutsch, like many others, was unimpressed with beer advertisers and their lack-luster Super Bowl commercials featuring what he dubs “men’s idiocy.”
Despite the disappointment surrounding many of the big night’s commercials, a few passed the test.
Google’s sweet ad featuring the evolution of a trans-Atlantic love story between the U.S. and Paris as told by various searches, “assumes intelligence,”...
After last night’s big super bowl win by the Saints, Kim Kardashian has nothing but words of praise for her sweetie Reggie Bush.

"Reggie has waited his whole life for this moment. It came and they conquered," the reality star continued. "It was a really good win!"
Kim was in town with mother, Kris Jenner, and younger brother, Robert Kardashian, to support Bush and the Saints.

After beau Reggie Bush and his New Orleans teammates locked up a Super Bowl victory over the Indianapolis Colts, Kim Kardashian locked up Saints coach Sean Payton in a big congratulatory hug.
Getting access to the action is one of the fun things about being a celebrity at the Super Bowl. Kardashian may end up getting more than that: Rumor has it that now that he's won a Super Bowl, Bush might propose.
Other devoted Saints fans in the crowd Sunday night included a few members of the Jolie-Pitt clan. Part-time New Orleans residents Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and son Maddox Jolie-Pitt made it to the game, as did Harry Connick Jr. and...
Sunday's Superbowl XLIV in Miami pits the Indianapolis Colts against the New Orleans Saints and is already being touted as one of the best matchups in league history-and the game hasn't even been played yet.
Based on the spectacular seasons that both of these teams delivered, we have no reason to expect that this game will be anything other than the high-scoring, entertaining affair that we're all hoping for.
Both teams have outstanding quarterbacks, in Peyton Manning and Drew Brees, as well as plenty of targets to throw to; but the winner of the game is more than...
By now everyone knows about Florida quarterback TimTebow's anti-abortion ad for conservative group Focus on the Family, but the much anticipated commercial breaks during Superbowl XLIV have a few less-serious tricks up their sleeves.
According to the AP, beer-giant Anheiser-Busch is the leading Superbowl advertiser again this year. The brand's trademark clydesdale horses and "Sprint" the donkey may be missing this year, but the company is sticking with humor during its 5 minutes of ad time. From a husband that skips a football game to attend his wife's book group because she is serving Bud Light, to a crowd of beer enthusiasts that form...
