Even after more than 70 years in show business, legendary funny lady Betty White has never hosted Saturday Night Live. Fans of the show – and Betty -- are hoping to change that.
A Facebook page called “Betty White to Host SNL (please?)” has more than 100,000 fans, two days after her surprising Snickers spot was one of the top-rated commercials in Super Bowl XLIV. More than 90,000 of those fans have joined the page since the Super Bowl.

More people watched New Orleans’ Super Bowl victory on Sunday night than any other broadcast in history.
The Saints’ 31-17 win over Indianapolis on CBS was seen by a record total of 153.4 million people, beating the mark set with last year’s big game (151.6 million).
It also had a record average audience of 106.5 million viewers, topping the gold standard of television events, the 1983 series finale of M*A*S*H (106 million).
Super Bowl XLIV’s household rating was 45.0, meaning 45 percent of all households were tuned in, best for a Super Bowl in 14 years.

Shortly before he was due to commentate on this weekend’s Super Bowl for the NFL Network, former football player Warren Sapp was arrested at his Miami hotel for domestic battery.
The former football star is accused of choking a woman, assumedly his girl friend of two years, in his hotel room at the Shore Club on Miami Beach.
According to the Associated Press , Sapp was arrested at 5 AM Saturday morning and posted bail and was released at 11 AM Sunday.
