Kristen Wiig is the latest "Saturday Night Live" cast member to headline a movie.

Wiig, who is developing a script for the film with co-writer Annie Mumolo, will team with director Paul Feig and producer Judd Apatow for the still-untitled Universal Pictures project, reports Variety. It will be Feig and Apatow's first project together since the short-lived 1999 NBC show "Freaks and Geeks."

Details are scarce, but Variety says the script centers on "women competing to plan a friend's wedding party."

Wiig also has roles in the upcoming comedies "Date Night" (opening April 9) and "MacGruber" (April 23). The latter is a expansion of a recurring "SNL" sketch.
