In honor of the trailer release last week for "Sex and the City 2," we decided to whet our fashionable palettes for the upcoming film with a little on-set style.
New Beginnings
In a shot straight from the trailer's opening sequence, Samantha, Miranda, Carrie, and Charlotte gather in front of Bergdorf Goodman for a little retail therapy.
Samantha looks hot in a skin-hugging black dress, with a snake skin clutch and stacked heels.
Miranda looks every bit the cool and calm professional in a mustard dress, fashionably cinched with a brown leather belt, and platform pumps.
Carrie is fresh and refreshing in a breezy white dress, aviator shades, and leopard print Louboutin pumps.
Always the lady, Charlotte dons a sweet pink suit, pink bag, and peep-toe Louboutin sling-backs.
The 80s are back!
Carrie and Charlotte stroll the streets in their 80s finest! Carrie channels Madonna, while Charlotte is forever the "preppie."
Not one to be left behind, Samantha squeezes into skin-tight faux-python pants, a leopard bustier, red ankle boots, and lets not forget the teased hair!
A young-looking Miranda juggles books and folders in a tan suit, Reebok sneakers, scrunch socks, and an 80s-style bowl-cut.
Looking back
In a less heinous throwback (think Season 3 when Carrie crashes Natasha's lunch date), Ms. Bradshaw descends her front steps in a news-print Dior.
We know she isn't going to visit Aidan's cabin in Suffern (a la Season 4) but she sure looks it in this midriff-baring plaid shirt and cropped jeans.
Looking ahead
Do we hear wedding bells? Let's rephrase that: Does Samantha Jones hear wedding bells? The second film is sure to be full of surprises with Ms. Jones in this fabulous gown! (We're sure she will lose the Uggs when she arrives at the ceremony.)
