New Moon reign continues

New Moon received the biggest box office numbers for a second weekend in a row, but just barely.

Acccording to MovieTickets.com, with $42.5 million in box office sales New Moon took the number one spot, followed closely by The Blind Side with $40.125 million.

Both films boast all-star casts and have created significant buzz in the last weeks.

Both films are also based on books. New Moon is the second novel in the best-selling fictional series The Twilight Saga, by Stephenie Meyer. The Blind Side is based on the life of Michael Oher as told by Michael Lewis in his non-fiction work of the same title.

The weekend box office was rounded out by 2012 raking in a respectable $18 million, and Disney's Old Dogs and A Christmas Carol, bringing in $16.846 million and $16.003 million, respectively.

I think this is very good concept that the books are base of the movies because if it is true then definitely they will be good lesson for our children instead of onle romance and sex that they are learning now from the movies.
