Apparently not everyone was amused by the latest round of talking baby commercials that aired during Super Bowl XLIV in January.
Lindsay Lohan is suing financial company E*TRADE over one such commercial, alleging the company's use of a baby featuring her name and likeness violated her ability to control "the commercial use of her likeness, name, characterization and personality."
The commercial (watch it below) features two babies chatting over a web cam. A female baby drills a male baby on why he neglected call her the night before, demanding, "And that milkaholic, Lindsay, wasn't over?" Another female baby then enters the screen on the male baby's end of the web cam saying, "Milk-a-what?" in a surprised, antagonistic tone.
Despite Lohan's accusation that the baby is meant to resemble her, the Washington Post reports that an E*TRADE spokesman claims "Lindsay" is actually the name "of someone on the account team" for the company.
The suit was filed by Lohan's attorney Stephanie Ovadia at the Nassau County Supreme Court on Monday, and seeks $100 million in damages and demands that the company stop airing the ad immediately.
Lohan herself is currently in France attending fashion shows during Paris Womenswear Fashion Week.
