Keri Russell contemplating return to small screen

According to Entertainment Weekly, Keri Russell is in the final stages of talks to sign on to a new sitcom produced by Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz.

The new project entitled Wilde Kingdom is also set to star Arrested Development's Will Arnett who will play Russel's love interest.

Arnett's character, Steve Wilde is described as "a wealthy, self-centered Beverly Hills playboy who falls for a selfless humanitarian" played by Russell.

If she does ink the deal with Fox this will the actress' first return to the small screen since her popular young adult drama series Felicity ended 8 years ago in 2002.
