In a continuation her of laid-back, natural beauty-type style, Jennifer Aniston is introducing her first fragrance, Lolavie, as “a nonperfume perfume," in an interview with WWD.
“It’s been a year-and-a-half journey,” she told magazine. “I’d been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. But when Leon [Falic, president of the Falic Fashion Group] approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, ‘This could be a creative expression.’ And it’s turned out to be an extension of myself as opposed to slapping my name on something.”
She describes the scent as “sexy and clean” and “floral, but not too flowery.”
“I want people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ But most of all I wanted it to smell natural,” she says.
Though she admits the design of the bottle was inspired by her love for modern architecture, as well as waves at the beach (one of Aniston's favorite places to be), the actress is mum on the meaning of the perfume's name.
“It’s a long story and honestly it’s too personal to tell,” she says. “But it has special significance.”
Due out in Britain in July, and in the U.S. at an undisclosed point after that, Lolavie will retail for $46.50 for a 50-ml. bottle and $61.95 for a 85-ml. bottle.

The case with our newest celebrity stinker to enter the fray with LOLAVIE by Jennifer Aniston, which she describes as “a non-perfume perfume.” Exactly what is a non-perfume perfume? Air? Water? A waste of space? Nonsense? I vote for the two latter descriptions. Let’s start with the name…LOLAVIE. Read more at Huffington Post approved blog, IMeanWhat?!? at http://bit.ly/aCgUKw
