Since he has the time on his hands, he appears to be using it for a good cause.
Last month Conan O'Brien announced he was going to begin following a randomly selected fellow Twitterer, with the only the information on his new subject, 19-year-old Sarah Killen, being, "She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs."
O'Brien originally tweeted, "I've decided to follow someone at random. She likes peanut butter and gummy dinosaurs. Sarah Killen, your life is about to change," and he was correct.
Since then Killen's life, and the life of her fiance, have changed quite a bit.
According to Killen, the pair were scheduled to get married later this year on Sept. 25, but were concerned about how they would be able to cover the costs.
Thanks to Conan, the young bride-to-be has been receiving plenty of high-profile attention and the financial aspect of her wedding is now covered.
"I'm getting married on September 25," Killen to PopEater. "And we didn't know if we would be able to afford it. Now I'm getting custom made shoes and a dress from Kelima in New York. They offered a gown in exchange for promoting their favorite charity, the Children's Hunger Fund. We're getting a limo, Classic Creations is giving us wedding bands and there's a vineyard in California sending us wine. We've got it all covered now...
Aside from having their wedding covered, the couple have received plenty of other swag including an iMac computer.
How do Killen and her fiance feel about Conan now? "He's changed my life" and "My fiancé wants Conan to be his best man."
